I have a 2000 EM1 with a B16A2 in it. My first question is if I were to swap to a set of ITR cams and am keeping my redline stock for now, do I need to tune for them or will the stock pcm run these cams. From what I have read on the local forums here, it seems that Ill pick up a bit more torque low end and bit more mid-range. I am waiting for my chipped p28 to get here, and I need to order the OBD2 to OBD1 adapter, but was curious about swapping out the cams early.
Second, does anyone have a guide to delete the power steering and AC from this? Prepping for a turbo kit and want to get started on that delete this weekend. Thanks for the info
Thats good info, thanks. I wasnt planning on getting the redline raised until I take out the motor over next winter and build the bottom end and valve train will be upgraded at that point before boost. Was just thinking of a quick drop in for some low end torque and a mid-range kick going off some other posts, but if its not really worth the trouble than its something I can skip for the time being.
