2000 CR-V intermittent back-up lights
Hey folks, looking for some information.
My back-up lights don't always come on when I put it in reverse. If the indicator light on the instrument panel comes on, so do the back-up lights. If not, I can jiggle the shifter until it does. Usually, this only takes a second or 2 but lately, it's getting harder and herder to get them to come on.
I'm thinking maybe the neutral safety switch is worn in that spot but, it's about a $100 part so if there's an easier, less expensive fix, I'd love to know about it.
P.S. It has an automatic transmission.
