I have read some threads on here about P1167, and after having my sensors replaced, twice, the check engine light is still on and I am still having problems with the car acting like it is going to stall when I stop or when I am idling. The mechanic said it is an electrical thing but would cost me upwards of $500 labor just to find the problem. After reading some of the threads on here, I realized that I just noticed two days ago that my cruise control light wasn't on and cruise control isn't working. It seems as if the simple solution is that it is a bad fuse, however when I checked it, it wasn't blown, but the blades were a bit blackish. I am going to test them to see if it is corroded enough to block a current. I am NOT car literate in the least and most of my knowledge comes from google and youtube videos. Anyone else have this problem? If it is a wiring issue, does $500 seem excessive?? Any help would be appreciated
