Default using bluetooth with phone question

I have a 2013 Honda Accord that I bought on Feb.27. This is my first car with bluetooth. I got my phone connected via bluetooth, with contacts and call history imported into the car. Now, I am just wondering whether I should always turn off bluetooth in the car when it is parked and locked. I always turn off bluetooth on my phone when not using it to avoid battery drain from bluetooth. But, regarding bluetooth in the car, perhaps this issue depends on whether I expect to normally have my phone with me in the car and whether I want to always have an active bluetooth connection between car and phone when in my car. What do you do?

Default Re: using bluetooth with phone question

Never-mind. I have concluded that turning off the car's bluetooth when the car is parked is not necessary since removing the ignition key automatically turns off bluetooth. If situations arise where I do not want to establish a bluetooth connection between car and phone while in the car, and when driving, then I will probably turn off bluetooth in the car.
