Default B series timing belts

Is there any difference in timing belts between a b16 and b18?

So if I have a b16 block with b18 head I should probably get the b16 belt?

yes. But it depends upon the b18 head you have. You have to go by the number of teeth on the belt. So be specific on the head you have
