2013 CRV Fluctuating Temp Gauge
Had an issue of a fluctuating temperature gauge on my 2013 CRV at about 164,500. Was occurring at highway speed in warm weather, colder weather no issue. Would rise to 1/2 and as far as 5/8 up the temperature gauge and work its way back down and back up. Went ahead and replaced thermostat, did water pump and both sensors while I was at it. That was 2 weeks ago, drove in city and experienced no issue. This past weekend drove fine without issue on a 250 mile drive until I was close to destination, started to rise between 1/2 and 5/8, cut heat on and it dropped. Issue did not continue with city driving. Troubleshot fans, both checked good at temp, with a/c on, verified relays good. No issues in oil, no coolant lost. Not sure what's going on for such an intermittent issue. My last guess for cooling system is my radiator having debris/clog in it. Any ideas or similar experiences? Appreciate in advance any information provided
