D16A9 engine mods??

Hi guys, I am new to this forum. I just moved to Colombia, South America and recently purchased a 1994 Honda Civic SI. Here this car came with a D16A9 DOHC. I want some more hp in this car and engine swaps are not an option here. I would have to build the motor or go turbo, but you can’t buy those parts here. So the question is, what parts would be the same for my engine in the USA? I can buy the parts and get them shipped here, but I don’t have the luxury of buying the wrong parts. And does anybody have any recommendations?
