which motor?
B20 sleeves are supposedly the weakest of the b series bunch. I would go with a GE or darton sleeved b18 bored out to 84.5mm which results in approx. 2.0L with superior strength to the stock b20 block. Both the b18 and b20 are excellent choices for boost. The b16a is better for NA than a non-VTEC b18 or b20.
I say b20. People say b20 sleeves are weak and I'm sure they are compared to b18 sleeves, but Trevor squeezes 100 shot dry on stock b20 sleeves and it's been holding up pretty good. This is also with skunk2 stage 1 cams.
If it could hold up 100 shot of n2o on skunk2 stage 1, I say it's strong enough to hold up most of the mild mods that you could do to your car NA. And if you're thinking about fully building the motor, it shouldn't matter, because you should resleeve it with iron ductile sleeves i.e. Golden Eagle, Darton, etc.
