anybody know spring rates for maxspeed/arospeed/usp?
I have installed a number of coilovers in the last few years and have realized one thing. I don't care who makes them. Coilovers are a very simple design, and I don't see any reason to pay over twice as much for some skunk2's when all I'm doing is heading down the 1320.
With that said, does ANYBODY know what the spring rates are for the off brands, like maxspeed/arospeed/usp/etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've tried a search here and on google, and tried to contact some ebay dealers that sell them but nobody knows. I want something as stiff as possible.

well one of my friends has them on an eg and his car is really stiff.. but I'm looking for confirmation on actual spring rates
anyone else?
anyone else?
i've had the maxspeeds, they are a nice daily driven coilover. I used them in conjunction with tokico blues. They are not a good drag coilover due to not having a stiff enough spring rate in the rear. If your not really trying to be that competitive, maxspeeds will due the trick, but skunk2 makes the drag setup for a reason. And that's why you can get custom spring rates from ground control. The stiffer the spring in the rear, helps with traction. I have 400 up front and 750 in the rear using ground controls. It does make a difference when all your doing is going down the 1320.
Yeah I know it makes a difference, thats why I'm trying to determine what the spring rates actually are. The not stiff enough part in the rear is what I was looking to hear, thanks for the info!+
