Default Is speed senor needed?????

I did the dpfi to mpfi harness conversion. As I was trying to plug it into my obd2 engine with a hydro obd2 transmission I found out that the speed senor needs a plug and when I watched videos on how to do it, they didn’t say anything about the speed senor, so can anyone help me with how to wire it in? And if it is needed to even be plugged in. Thank you.

Since you didn't specify, IF your hydro OBD2 transmission is a D series, and IF you're putting it into an ED/EE/EF, then you should have pulled the VSS from your original transmission so you could plug the stock speedometer cable into the proper VSS. Honda switched to electronic signalling when they brought the EG out, but they still mount the same. You can't use an electronic VSS without modification/replacement of the instrument cluster.
