YCP Pistons What Rods?

Default YCP Pistons What Rods?

Sorry posting this here since it might get more looks than the Engine/Assembly Forum.

Hey guys i have YCP 84.5mm floating pistons for my b20vtec. My problem is the piston clearance for the rod is small. Not sure what aftermarket rod will fit.

Looking at specs looks like skunk2 might fit piston end width is .827. Eagle is .935. Manley is .849. YCP clearnce about .850. Is it okay to use the Skunk2. I'm not sure how much clearance i need between the piston and rod.

Afraid of this:

Whats everyones experience?

Have you considered having your local machine shop mill down the pin end of your rods to fit the YCP piston pin boss ??? I just did this on my K24 build.
