High pitched noise when stepping on brake
Hello,
For the past few months, I’ve been hearing a high pitched sound (screeching) whenever I press the brake. This usually happens when I stop before turning, although I’ve also heard this when I stop before going straight. I don’t hear the noise every time I press the brake, but I hear it often enough that I’m starting to worry.
Does this seem like a serious issue and how can this be fixed? I am not familiar with car repairs or maintenance so I would appreciate some feedback.
I have a 2015 Honda CRV.
