Default Used Transmission Dealer

I am looking for a 92-95 Prelude transmission, namely an MP1A, and I want to buy from someone other than a random supplier on Ebay. Who would be a reliable source for one of these transmissions? It will be used in a 94 Accord EX .

google for a pic-a-part yard near you or a company that sells JDM parts (check craigslist). unless you rebuild it there's always a chance of getting a dud.

examples:
Pick-A-Part | Recycled auto parts in Stafford and Fredericksburg Virginia

True, but I see some companies dealing in JDM parts and thought that there might be one or two that have a better reputation than the others. I know it's the luck of the draw no matter where you buy.

HMO is pretty good.
https://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/t...-transmission/
If you want the LSD trans it needs to be the MP1A-1######. There are MP1A-####### transmissions but if it doesn't have the '-1' after the MP1A then it will not have LSD.

My only issue I had with HMO is when I ordered up the replacement B1 the description and picture of the engine was not the engine I received. I did take a screen shot and went back and forth with them to straighten things out. So in the end it was fine. Funny thing is the current B1 engine shown 'for sale'

Has been sitting pretty in my car for two or so years now.
I don't think it was fraud, they move quite a bit of drivetrain components. I only needed an engine and they had a engine/AT combo shown(have that screen shot as well) so they sent me the above rather than separate the other engine. I occasionally send them an Email regarding my engine on their website :D
