Default 89 CRX B16A swap electric problem

I have just finished getting everything put together in my b16a swap for my 89 CRX. When I got the battery posts connected the positive one started smoking and it started to get hot. I'm thinking I did the alternator wiring or the starter or one of the grounds wrong but I'm not sure where to look. Could any of those things cause such a thing to happen? I'm going to go over it tomorrow and check all my wiring again . Thanks for the input. In advance .

One of your power wires are earthing out. Do you have a wiring diagram that you're referencing?
