Default Crosstour for rallycross?

I have a Honda CR-Z that I use for autocross and I'm looking to start basic level rallycross this season. But I need a car and I wanted to be a Honda. I wanted to do something a little more unique like my CR-Z and I've always really liked the Crosstour. It's all wheel drive and a little higher up so I thought it might be a good candidate and I was hoping to get some second opinions.

MPG: 19 city / 28 highway
Horsepower: 278 hp @ 6,200 rpm
Towing capacity: 1,500 lbs
Engine: 3.5 L V6
Curb weight: 4,105 lbs
Tire size: P225/60R18

4100 Lbs is a little heavy.

You're probably right, but maybe I could drop a little weight by gutting the back seats and some other interior goods.

Diff for the CRZ. Better for autox and rallyx. Cheaper than a Crosstour.

Or basically any cheap FWD Honda with a diff.

If you HAVE to have AWD, a cheap Subaru is the answer.

TL;DR Crosstour is not the answer.

Thanks. I was starting to lean towards buying another CR-Z for rally. Using my current one would destroy it too much.

+1 for a cheap subaru

I love Hondas, well, the older ones at least. But a lil over 10yrs ago I also bought a Subaru and they're awesome too. For something like rally, rallyx or even just exploring dirt back roads they're amazing.

I appreciate the input, but I just don't want a Subaru. I know they're great cars and I know they're great for rally, but I just want to build something unique that I can take pride in even if it's not the best....and I don't want to be just another Subaru out there.

I had an Acura ZDX as a loaner for a while and it was amazing. SH-AWD, good power... Isn't that the same thing?

Edit: I think the SH-AWD was unique to the ZDX.

It was shockingly fun to drive.

What about a 1st gen crv? Dirt cheap, reliable and probably lighter than the cross tour.
