First off, thanks for reading this. Any thoughts would be helpful.
2015 Pilot check engine light comes on and off repeatedly. 100k miles. Dealer suggested replacing belt and all 100K service which we did. Light still goes on for a few days then off.
Codes show misfire in cylinders 5 & 6. Sometimes cylinder 4 as well, but we are talking 40 misfires when cold. We have had the plugs and coils swapped, new fuel injectors, swapped fuel injectors and finally valve adjustments. Light still goes on. Especially when engine is cold.
Thoughts?

If all ignition components have been ruled out and you have new injectors, you might want to check for any vacuum leaks. These will also cause a misfire as it is having difficulty getting the right air/fuel mixture. If its around cylinder 5 it will throw a P0305, cylinder 6 P0306 and so on. If those codes are still lit up, you might have to do a compression test.

If the plugs were fouled on 4,5, and 6, it may be related to the VCM system. Every time those cylinders shut down in ECO mode, oil seeps through the rings and fouls the plugs. A lot of people with this feature on their J35 motors use a VCM muzzler to alleviate the problem.
