Can I reverse the clutch safety switch so the car won’t start when the clutch is pressed

Not just by swapping wires.

Replace the clutch switch with a brake switch and it will work in reverse. You may have to change the plug.

You could just wire in a toggle switch to the plug to the clutch switch. That way the starter wouldnt engage until you pressed the hidden momentary toggle switch. Super cheap and easy way to make a kill switch

Or just wire the clutch switch to the brake switch so you have to hold down the brake switch to start the car

I think the best one was to wire it to the seat belt warning light. If your seat belt was off it wouldnt start the car. Theives would never buckle up before stealing it

A simple toggle switch on the starter signal wire works as a kill switch, BUT, be warned it draws quite a few amps even just on the signal wire. Use nothing less than 10ga wire and a heavy duty switch, not one of the $3 ones from autozone. Unless you like having it not start when its warm.

As an anti-theft measure, devising some secret way to kill the fuel pump and/or ignition would be more effective. The sound of a car cranking but not starting attracts a lot of attention.
