My Honda dealer had a 2018 CR-V EX AWD in stock that I was interested in, great price, but unfortunately I missed it. Another dealer in the area (30 miles away) has the same vehicle. I prefer to deal with my previous dealer, but really like this car. Would my dealer even consider a "dealer trade" on a 2018 since it's already late January 2019? My dealer has a few 2018 models but they are a trim level up from the one I want. Or perhaps since it's late January, my dealer would bring the price down on the higher trim level that he already has in stock.
