Modify driver's door lock to unlock all doors?
Dear Experts,
I have a 1996 Honda Accord EX
2.2 Litre VTEC engine, 5 speed
It has electric door locks.
The locks work without a remote.
By turning the key in the door lock, all
the doors will get locked.
But to unlock, the key only unlocks the driver's door.
To open the other doors, I have to
open the driver's door, then
flick the door lock switch on the door panel
A long time ago, an Alpine car alarm was installed.
Since then, the alarm has been damaged.
And, during a recent test of the electrical system,
the technicians noticed that the aftermarket alarm is
draining the electrical system.
With such an old car, my inclination is to just
remove the old alarm, and just use the door key.
However, it bothers me that only the one door
gets opened.
Is it possible to modify the electrical system,
so that, when I unlock the driver's door,
all the doors will be opened?
Or, if the key is turned a second time, the
rest of the doors will be opened?
Thanks a lot!

Info. is part of the owner's manual:
To unlock only the driver's door from the outside, turn the key and release it. If you turn the key and hold it, all doors will unlock.
All four doors will unlock when you unlock the passenger's door with the key.

As a side note, about locking up Honda Accords from the 90's...well at least in my 91 Accord I can lock all the doors simultaneously without ever using the keys by simply pulling on the driver's inside door handle and then while doing that hitting the lock button that sits there by the handle, walla! Can reduce key wear in half! But, remember to make sure you have the keys in your hands to keep from getting locked out with keys inside the car! I speak from experience.
