I'm working on getting my car ready for paint (DIY in my garage). The car has been painted so many times and hte paint is so thick, i'm taking the majority of the car to bare metal. My original intent was to get close to metal and then when the weather turns for the better (warmer), take it all the way to metal and get ready for primer. Well, that is a lot more difficult to do than i had thought. It isnt going to be warm enough to spray primer on the car for at least a few months. Is there a temporary rust inhibitor i could apply to the bare metal on the car so that it doesnt start to rust now that it is exposed?

For anyone else that is looking, i did more research on some autobody forums and found that cheapo spray paint will work just fine and is easy enough to sand off when it comes time to do primer.
