96 Accord F22B2 idle air control valve coolant?

96 Accord F22B2 idle air control valve coolant?
Eliminated the FITV and before I go buy heater hose to bypass it, does the IACV need the coolant lines that go in and out of it? It's only a 2 wire, but I'm assuming it still needs the coolant for when it warms up.
