Default Civic eg6 starting issue, no comp?

Hi guys! Yesterday evning i went out to start my civic (engine-b16a2) and it was realy hard to start, but After a while it start to run. After a few seconds, by mistake when i tried to save the idleing i rev 4500 and it totalty died? No it feels like all compression is lost? Starter runs the engine very easy... there was no specific sound or craking/Salming when and befor it died..

any ideas?

Im from sweden and my english isnt perfect, hope you understand

Check the mechanical timing. If good, then compression test the cylinders.

Feels weird that compression just disaperd? Maybe the timingbelt jumped and messed up the timing, i will check it!
Can the valves hit the pistons on b16a2? Or do they have clearance?

Did some work on the engine today, i Found that the timing belt was slack and probably slipped, the intake camshaft wasn’t in line with the exhaust cam... how Ever the exhaust CAM seem to line up when the crank is in tdc.. so only one cam slipped? It pointed slightly towards the firewall(drivers seat) maybe 4-5 teeth, anyone that knows if the valves hit the pistons? I didn’t drive, when this happend, i started the car and After 30 sec it died for no reason..

If you think of how the engine turns, the crank pulls on the front (exhaust) side of the timing belt, so the intake side of the timing belt is more slack. If there is too much slack it could skip over the intake cam.

The easiest way to know if there is damage is to put a new timing belt on and see if it runs. It is also possible to do a leakdown test to check the valves on an engine without a timing belt.

x2. Install new belt and tensioner, set mechanical timing, do leak-down test (if you have access to the tools), crank and see if it runs.

If the engine jumped time at idle, chances are good that you have no valve damage... although the farther you get out of time, the greater the chances are that you may have bent something. As stated above... install a new belt AND tensioner and see if you get lucky.
