Anyone has a generic trans cooler part number to share for an install on a 2001 accord?

I want to mount a generic trans cooler on my 2001 accord but not being able to see the cooler before ordering it, I am unsure about which model to go for.

Ideally I would like a trans cooler that is large and easy to fab mounts for and affordable.

What has been tried? What is the brand and model number?

It's been done. Most big aftermarket transmission rebuilders won't warranty their work unless an aftermarket transmission cooler is used. My best advice would be to just measure the working space you have and look for a cooler with the dimensions that you need. You don't need anything huge. The stock setup just uses a very small area in the radiator which is usually sufficient for normal operation.

 

i have hayden 677 cooler in my 2000 accord.

 

I installed a Tru Cool LPD4921 (its large) on an 05 cr-v, while not a 6 gen accord I did check it against my 99 and it will probably fit.
The 3/8" hose size is compatible with the honda hoses. I also installed a magnefine filter.
Used a 1" aluminum angle (home depot) to make a horizontal bracket that spanned the front of the evaporator top and bottom. Once bolted to the cooler it was very rigid.
You want an inch or so space between the cooler and evaporator, if possible.
I suggest using nyloc fasteners.
