what is this ?

my friend have problem of low rpm issue .. when turn on A/c so he get rig of it by installing this anyone know what is this ?

Is it a solenoid that causes a vacuum leak so that the engine idles up?

I have no idea... But it help idlesup when aircon are turn on

Where does the blue hose go? Can you take pics of everything that’s connected to that piece?

i just google it out it was purge solenoid...

purge solenoid. One vacuum line goes to the black canister on the firewall, underneath the fuel filter. Other vacuum line goes to the intake manifold.
