Default Radiator fan doesn't kick on-2002 Honda Civic ex

Just got my 2002 Honda Civic ex running again after 9 months of it sitting in the parking lot. I replaced the battery and plugs and fired her up. After letting it run for a while I noticed the fan didn't kick on like usual. So after letting it warm up for a while I decided to give her a drive and see how it went. After driving around the block several times I pulled back in and let it idle and check the engine. No over heating I noticed. But a faint funny smell I couldn't put my finger on. Still didn't see it kick on. It has 120,000 miles on it. I'm only the second owner. Any ideas? Thanks yall

fan relay or bad fan , if you turn the ac on and the secondary fan turns on id send 12v to the cooling fan and if it works then its 99% the fan relay or the fuse

Strong chance its the fan. Had a similar problem on an Oldsmobile. Bench test the fan motor with 12v battery.

You can pick up some alligator clips and run them directly to the fan connector from the battery terminals to check fan operation. No reason to remove from the vehicle.
