Can anyone help? Engine wont turn since trans rebuild.
Ok so I have a RHD Transtop with ITR head and b16 block with GSR trans (3RD was toast) . last summer I ran LSV but spun a rod. So I pulled everything apart and bought a nice low miles block and put it together. While everything was out I bought a Competition Clutch B Series Stage 2 Street Series Clutch Kit for Acura Integra 1994-2001 DC and sent my transmission to be rebuilt by a local shop that builds lots of high hp hondas. Buddy put in a GSR gear set along with a set of Synchrotech B-Series Hydro Brass Synchro Set 1-5 for Acura Integra 1994-2001 DC. Finally got the transmission and installed the new clutch and transmission and when I went to feel the clutch I could only get it into 3rd and 5th and reverse. put the car together and the car wouldn't crank whats so ever like it was stuck. The engine would rotate fine before installing transmission but after it wouldn't rotate at all. So I unhooked the slave to disengage the clutch since my clutch is bypassed and the car would slowly turn and was super hard to turn manually. I hooked up a brand new battery and had my Acura TL boosting it for more cranking power but something was still making it crank slow to the point it was barley moving. So I took the transmission out tonight and again my engine turns just fine so I know nothing is wrong with the engine and it has to be something with transmission, What could be causing this? Running same flywheel, Clutch is the right clutch for the car so I'm not sure whats going on.
Yeah I'm bringing it to him to do it again since he would do it for free hopefully he does it right if not I will figure something out
drop transmission and turn the shaft that goes into the clutch by hand, does it spin?
use a screwdriver and stick it into the shifter, can you shift it in and out?

Yes what Tony said, test the transmission in all gears and neutral by turning the input shaft by hand, and watching the output part turn (or not, if it is in neutral). Shift by rotating and pushing/pulling the shift rod.
Look for marks on the flywheel and clutch cover of anything rubbing, like the cover hitting the bolts on the inside of the bell housing.
