Trying to install this pressure gauge,The Banjo bolt is really stuck on there. Even with someone holding the filter down and me trying to wrench at it , it won’t budge. I dont want to keep forcing it and then snap a fuel line(as you can tell I already bent it a little bit)
There may be a hex fitting on the bottom that you can use to prevent the filter body from rotating. Or detach the other end of the hose from the fuel rail, detach the line from the bottom, and remove the filter from the car with the hose still attached, put it in a vise and take apart. It goes without saying that you will need a new fuel filter after that. One that has been in long enough for the bolt to be that stuck should be replaced in any case.
