So I have a 1999 honda civic CX, with a D16y8 swap. running d16y7 IM and Exhaust manifold, cause I need it on the road, will swap it out later. Anywho, I had a shop do the swap but I don't know where or what this sensor is and where it goes to. If anyone can help identify that would be great. It is located on the rear coolant housing where one of the hoses is the return line from the heater core/firewall and the other hose loops into the Intake Manifold. Trying to get the car to smog before I start doing major engine building.

Fast Idle Thermal Switch. There is no electrical connection to it... it is a mechanical system. It has two vacuum hose connections: the top one goes to the port facing straight up in the middle of the intake manifold mounting flange. The side one goes to the intake filter tube to draw fresh air.
