open door/brake light cluster won't shut off
My 93 accord wagon has a cluster of open door/brake warning lights that won't shut off. Could it be the relay or something else? And where is the relay?

More than likely, it's bad capacitor(s) and corrosion on the printed circuit board in the dash cluster. A lot of Accords (especially 4th Generation) have that problem. Mine has it, and I am trying to arrange to get the capacitors replaced and the corrosion cleaned up. I don't have the skill to replace the capacitors and clean up the board and make sure all the necessary leads still have continuity. You are lucky if those are the only two indicators impacted on yours. It can hit much more critical gauges too (fuel, speed, etc.) It killed my temperature gauge, and there are no lights on the stem controls for wipers and headlights. You can take out the console and cluster trims and unplug and remove the cluster to take a look at the board. If you see corrosion on it, that is what's going on. The brake lamp (bulb) warning seems to be the first problem to show up and causes many owners to spend a long time searching for a bad bulb when the problem is in the circuit itself.
