how much of a difference did your headers make?
I didn't notice too much of a difference with my DC 4-2-1's when I had them. Probably because I only had a short ram intake and an axleback at the time.
recovering stunna, y0
Anyway....most people recommend going with the 4-1 and you definitely should feel the difference with that.

I installed DC Sports 4:1 headers, and noticed a nice difference in the upper RPM range. Previous to that, I had installed a 5zigen cat-back, so I am not sure how the header alone would have fealt.
Is your exhaust cat back, or axle/muffler only?
I also noticed a nicer sound difference as well.

the dc 4-2-1 distinctly made more power for me lower in the rev band. part throttle at 4k was now pretty decent, it was nill before....
i doubt that the 3 or 4 horsepower any average header gives you is "noticeable". Maybe the butt dyno is getting influenced by some optimistic thinking.
don't know bout you guys, but after changing up my stock header with an aftermarket one (2.5" collector) driveability changed a whole lot. let's not confuse this or correlate it with 'power' but the car was a different animal after the new header. takes a while to get used to, but now, i like it.
Same here. Thinkin about going w/ DC ceramic or stainless 4-1. I've heard that the ceramic can be prone to cracking though, but then again the stainless is supposed to throw off more heat in the engine compartment. Decisions...

I've never felt anything with any header I've ever added, the biggest basic bolt on gain I've felt was definitely a race cat converter. Gotta go 1 piece, and look at the weld's on the inside of the header, if they look like crap, send that thing back, I should have in the past but never have.
if you have money get the comptech 4-2-1 header. If you don't want to spend too much, get the DC ceramic 4-2-1.
I had the dc 4-2-1 without exhaust, and it made a big difference. How could I be sure, you ask? Well I have a friend that I raced almost every day, and we were dead even most of the time. Well after I put the header on, I pulled about a 1 1/2 car lengths on him.

IB Modified JG Header on b18c1. I felt a difference. Dyno showed increase of 11whp in midrange and 6whp peak. Also 6ft-lbs of torque gained.
on my R i had the JDM 4-1 and right off the bat i raced it the next day with only that change the 1st run i knocked off 3/10's off my times.
Back when my R was N/A I had a DC JDM 4-1. It made quite a difference in the top end. But on a LS, I suggest you get a GReddy or DC 4-2-1 and a testpipe.
