Default New Speedometer

Hi,
I need to replace the speedometer on my 1996 Accord LX 2.2. I’ve been checking on EBay for one. Confusing. Sometimes it says only good if no ABS. Sometimes it says your mechanic must adjust it once installed. Not sure if I have ABS and what does my mechanic have to adjust?
Thanks for any help.

You can just replace the speedometer circuit board. That way, you retain your original odometer reading. ABS is not relevant. No adjustment necessary.

OK. Also I can get a deal on a cluster from a manual transmission Honda. Same model, year, etc. Will that work in my automatic transmission?

MT cars do not have the AT gear selector, without it you won't have the D4 lamp to do proper diagnostics if the CEL were to come on.

Yes, it should work. You're just swapping the circuit board for the speedometer.

DON"T TOUCH ANY OF THE FUEL GAUGE SCREWS!!!
One of the thin wires attaches to the plastic 'nut' on the fuel gauge, it will spin and break the wire which will make the fuel gauge read 'FULL' when it is not.
