I have the space on the driver's side of my 2002 Accord.....anyone mount a loud speaker under the hood there?

How would I go about that?

Don't want to play anything, I'd like a more effective way to project spoken instructions as compared to yelling out the window.

 

My first car came with one. It looked like a car alarm speaker but was hooked up to a CB radio. The CB had a PA mode which we used to harass pedestrians. High school was fun.

 

I don't think I want to harass anyone but there is little to no way to communicate easily with others when inside a vehicle.

 

I never thought about it either, but you get four teenage boys in a car cruising and see what happens lol

 

Well, in reality, it is kind of obnoxious in general, but, if your on a construction site and need to bark out orders, just grab a CB radio. They useually have a speaker out that you just run a wire to a bull horn speaker and yap away. You could probably get a CB off ebay for 10 bucks, but dont quote me.

 

I'm not a teenager so I don't see how that applies. LOL

I don't see the ability to project instructions as "obnoxious" unless one is a teenager.

Car lots have loudspeakers because Public Address systems are a lot more efficient than sending a runner or yelling out a door.

A CB? I'll look into that once I get my car back on the road. Thanks.
