Default Post picture of a blown headgasket

I have yet to see a blown headgasket in person, does anyone have pictures of one they can share? Thanks...

The problem is that you can't really see the headgasket with the head on, and you pretty much destroy the gasket taking the head off, so i don't think anybody has really seen a blown headgasket.

I know you cannot see the headgasket when the head is on, lol. I am asking if anyone took pictures of a blown headgasket once it was removed. Ive replaced a blown headgasket before on a friends car, but i didnt see any failure in the headgasket.

well a "blown" headgasket could have a malformation small enough to let coolant in
but looks fine from the outside.

Ya, it could be a really small hole or crack in the gasket or a major chunk taken out of like this size of a quarter or even more...

i threw one away a while ago, it was the y8 3 layer gasket, on part was just a little deformed and you can see where it was leaking.
