Default 304 sch10 1.5 to mild steel flange what wire to use? (manifold)

hey guys
which rod do you guys recommend for welding 304 sch10 1.5" to mild steel flange?
iv read in some pleces that 309 is good for up to 371c ?

309 is what you want to use.

You could use inconel 625 if you really wanted to but 309 is the right material for the job.

I will second the 309. I have used it before with success on exhaust. At work we use 316 and it seems to hold up well but the manifolds we weld there just flow water and are not subject to much heat.
