Default I'm about to cry I think I blew up my car

I have an automatic ECU in my civic but I went to pick a part and got an ECU from an accord and when I plugged it in, it cranked then died I put the old ECU back and tried again but nothing. I wanted to cry because I felt like I destroyed everything I worked on. Any help please

Why the heck would you install an Accord ECU in your car?

I'm lost, why did you put an ECU for a totally different car into your car?

What reason did you remove the ECU in the first place?

On my threads it has the full story. ECU was originally from an automatic and it leaves the check engine light on

If it does not crank (by "crank" that means the starter rotates the engine when you turn the key, whether or not it fires and starts running on its own), the relays buzz, the lights are dim or out, etc. there is no power to the whole car, so check the battery connections, main ground, and the battery itself.

If it is a crank but won't start go through the cranks but won't start drill from the beginning, start with looking for the fuel pump and CEL go on and then off when you turn the key but don't crank.

An automatic OBD1 ECU can be modified rather simply to reprogram it for use in a manual car so it won't throw auto transmission codes. The OBDII ECUs do not work that way though, you must replace the ECU. Since you have started a new thread about the same problem and also not given car details in the first post you're kind of on your own here.

I appreciate everyone's restraint.

We all start somewhere and OP's choices appear to be lacking in understanding or depth of the consequences. I know this to be an open target for some of you and I thank you again for practicing restraint.

OP should listen to the advise given and check the fuses, especially the 15A fuse under the hood specifically mentioned and go from there. If OP want an understanding as to why.... Please post as such and the technical aspects of your choices will likely be presented, hopefully in a restrained manner.

Thank you and have a great day!

OP, you put the wrong ecu in the car, Wrong enough that you quite likely popped a fuse or two. A couple of responses indicated this and even pointed you to a specific fuse to look after.
