No oil in transmission after cleaning, will it rust?

Default No oil in transmission after cleaning, will it rust?
Just finished cleaning out transmission and resealed it. Will it rust on the inside if there is no oil in it.

It depends on what you used to clean it, how it is stored, and the humidity.
