Default D17A2 and 5 speed trans swap

i gutted my old 01 civic lx and just recently bought a 94 civic shell and was wondering if i would be able to just hook up the engine and trans without having to make any adjustments to the car

Unfortunately not. The 7G Civic (2001-2005) is a cradle car and the engine is attached to that front and rear whereas the '94 Civic has no central front attachment point and the rear attachment point is higher up on the rear K-member. You will have to do a LOT of fabrication to make that engine combination work.
