bWell figured id finally post her up on here after all these years... My father bought this 1979 Honda Civic in the early 90s from the original owner/builder that had it featured in Sport Compact Car in Aug of 92 , Stroked/Cammed 5-Speed Civic with a Jackson Racing Widebody kit and hand made side skirts and a spoiler from some different kit. Literally the car that got me into cars I would come home from school and wax/buff it in the garage and admire it and soo on... came about the year 2000 and it was a rough year for my father and he sold the car to give my family christmas to his business partner long story short where it ended up sitting for the better part of a decade till I finally horse traded him for it in 2011. Broke the engine free with trans fluid in the cylinders and a breaker bar and started daily driving it that day (lots of misc fun and learning along the way to get something like that back roadworthy) and the plans/intentions have always been for the car with my dad and his friend he sold it to was to d-series swap the car and I made it my mission to see it though. I drove the car for better part of 2 years before finally making it to be able to buy other vehicles to daily drive and take her off the road to return and improve upon her former glory . The car was a show car pretty much strictly though the 80s and then turned into a audio demo vehicle when my father got ahold of it and that was far from my intentions. before I write a small novel I now have the car getting ready to be painted and the DOHC ZC engine is fabricated in now along with the linkage. Im working with a company Monotech to get the wiring taken care of (im using a chopped down CRX SI dash/engine harness). Going to fabricate in a VW Scirocco radiator in next under the core support and on top of the lower crossmember with remote filler neck. I still have to figure out what im going to do for fuel im not really wanting to modify the stock tank I want to throw it in the trashcan and im not wanting to firewall off the back of my car to put a fuel cell in the back but I will figure that out. Ive got majority of tasks tackled and with game plan and would like to see her on the road in 2019 ... will keep it posted up , sorry about image resizing

little before picture with my nasty ratty mess interior , about to yank it all out for the monotech engine/dash harness before I go all digital dash . Also about to install my Koruworks Grip Royal steering wheel
awe on this day like forever ago on the Paul Walker Memorial cruise on AMP Motorsports track , lol was fun day and got fuel cut every time cornered left hard , and random pic from when I was DD'ing it
well I splurged a little today and bought a Stand Alone OBD1 Harness and a Hondata S300 V3 w/ Basemap soo now game plan is to just run the car on obd1 off the rip instead of converting later (and paying for some stuff 2ce)
I need to get carpet but got all the nasty wiring I did in 2013 out and what was left of the heater core and retrofitted r12 AC system . ready to be doing the wiring soo I can at least fire this thang up even if its on starter fluid . Prob running the wideband and fuel gauge in the center pod cluster
Starting to look like a interior again :D even dug through my junk boxes to find the old climate control ***** and switces to go back in the dash to fill some holes
