Default PLEASE HELP DPFI Y7 SWAP IN EF HATCH WONT START

Okay, so my gf got this std ef hatch for her first car. When we got it it was was just a shell, but it came with trans, intake, exhaust, everything but a motor basically. So I took an old y7 i had in my garage and swapped it in using the dpfi manifold. Well it ran for about two days pretty well aside from this idling problem I was told was a vacuum leak. Okay now this is where my 18 year old retardation comes into play - i was trying to locate the vacuum leak, and saw the pvc valve (which at the time I wasn’t really sure of what it was) and I covered it with my finger while the car was running. Well it idled down and shortly after died. Now all it will do it crank, but it doesn’t sound normal. It’s hard to describe; like it sounds weak, but not like dead battery weak. Hopefully someone can help me figure this out because I’m lost. I know it’s getting fuel, spark, and time, but it just doesn’t start. Thanks in advance for any help

Check for spark at all 4 plugs. Is spark bright white?

Does the fuel pump prime?

Try jump starting it or test the battery

I know the battery is good because I was using it in my car, but I had tested for spark already and from what I remember the spark was more of an orange/yellow color.

I second the jump starting it. I've seen low voltage cause allot of cars to crank but not fire.

Just to be sure, double check all your grounds if you haven't done that yet. Cleaning up a corroded negative post has mine firing in less than half the time as before - it's amazing what a dodgy ground can do, sometimes seemingly out of nowhere.

i would suggest slapping in a new battery and going from there, or charging and checking the voltage of the battery. if you say its cranking but sounds weak, that sounds like a battery thats on it's way out to me

I know for 100% certain the battery is
good because when charged it works in my crx just fine. I just cleaned all of my grounds and that made no difference. I noticed though that when it’s cranking it makes like a low hollow noise out of the exhaust each time it cranks. Also it pushes air out of the intake when I’m cranking it. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to do that or not as I don’t know **** about dual points.
