Default Parking my 2002 Accord for the winter.

I would prefer to drive my own car as I know her very well and with tire chains, she can do amazing things in the snow and on the ice.

However, my brake and fuel lines are very corroded and I don't want to attempt that line replacement job in the cold. Also I found a rust hole in my floor plan, I'd rather not get any more salt up in there.

The sticker has run out and I am going to look into removing insurance until spring.

I parked her outside so my dad could park his truck in the garage but I blocked one rear wheel with a small 2x4 to prevent the parking brake from rusting to the drum.

I'll start her up once a week and drive her around some on the backstreet assuming it's not a blizzard. That road isn't treated by the state.

Anyone else parking their Accord for the winter?

Nope, but I made the mistake of leaving it broke down with the parking brake on and now both rear wheels are stuck =(

I did that over last winter! It wasn't that big of a deal....I blocked the front wheels with a 2x4, jacked up the right rear wheel, took off the tire, and beat on the drum with a big hammer. That freed it and I was back in business.

I ended up doing a complete brake job though: new rotors, fine-sanded my rear drums, new pads, and new shoes. She gained about 3 mpg in mileage after that! I guess she was dragging badly and I know my rotors were very grooved. I went with semi metallic shoes and Akebono ceramic pads.

What is wrong with your car?

The only issue I had with an extended park was a family of rodentia moved into the car and chewed through the wiring harness which supplies taillights, dome lights, and some of the dash lights. It cost $400 to get that replaced.
