Heat on & Error Code P0128 still
Hi Everyone,
I'm posting this one for a friend, she has a 2008 Honda Civic with over 100k miles.
Her engine light came on, ran the codes and got P0128.
Her mechanic replaced the thermostat and sensor (after market).
Shortly after this 'repair', her engine light came back on.
She has intermittent heat that blows on her feet, but sometimes the blower/fan doesn't kick on.
The temperature reads C or 2 bars up and rarely goes above that.
Her mechanic changed the thermostat again this week, but the computer is still reading an error.
He is acknowledging her concerns are valid and noted there is something else going on. But he doesn't know what.
Still sounds like the thermostat is open or the sensor isn't working properly. Could it actually be the after market parts?
Is there anything that it sounds like it could be going on?
