ICU A vs B, what's the differenc?

ICU A vs B, what's the difference?
Long story short... swapped my ICU with one from a pick and pull. Mine had a "A" on it replacement had a "B" FIxed my issue I was having but not sure what the differences are and if this can cause a issue.

no idea what the difference is, but they are different, hence the different part numbers
Labeled A - part no. 38600-SH3-A01 is for:
88-91 Civic Hatch STD model (4 speed)
88-89 Civic Sedan DX model
Labeled B - part no. 38600-SH3-A11 is for:
89-91 Civic Hatch Si model
88-91 Civic Hatch DX model
90-91 Civic Sedan DX and EX models
88-91 Civic Sedan LX model
88-91 Civic 5-door Wagovan 4WD
88-91 CRX DX, HF and Si models
Labeled A - part no. 38600-SH3-A01 is for:
