Hey guys, as we all know winter is basically here so it’s time for everyone to start building up their cars and that’s my plan. My car is a 1998 Civic HX and I plan on it being my daily. When I bought it from my brother it already had a couple of nice mods
-fresh Milano Red paint-job
-Autopage 2 way alarm system
- CTR style front grille paint matched
- Front mugen style lip paint matched
- Rear EM1 lip paint matched
-Smoked HID Headlights and taillights (Done correctly)
- 99’ EM1 B16 swap
- EM1 front seats
- Skunk2 ProS2 Coilovers
-Roof and door visors
-Function7 LCAs
-Comptech OG subframe brace
-Megan racing front strut tower bar
-Aftermarket Sony Radio
- Pioneer speakers
-Optima Yellow Top
This is how I received the car:
Magnet for ***** and giggles
Me and my brother negotiated on a lower price if he got to keep his JNC wheels which I didn’t mind so I threw my extra black Drag DR33 set on there for the mean time.

Reason: title
First “mod” I did was replace the dome light build with a LED one as it was all dim. 😂
I went to go get plates for it the next day and went to go get some Si wheels for 160 the next week.
I also purchased some mint red stripe delSol seats for it but didn’t want to butcher my EM1 seats for their rails and didn’t want to mess with the seats. I sold them for 100 bucks.
The car drives great and doesn’t have any issues. Everything was basically in perfect mechanical condition so I decided just to try to clean up the engine bay. Not too successful on the shock towers, I need to pick up some brushes.
I ended up trading my Si wheels plus a replica Si lip for these Drag DR46 in gold and sold my black Drag DR33s. The DR46 had good Hankook Ventus HR2 on them.
I really wanted a Mugen style spoiler for my car but I wasn’t ready for the commitment of drilling holes in my freshly painted trunk. I saw this M3 style lip spoiler in Milano red and liked it. It came about a week later and I slapped it on.
I bought some new pioneer speakers from wally word for the doors because they didn’t sound the greatest. The new units definitely made a nice difference, I also noticed the rears weren’t wired up at all so I took the time to wire them up.
Sidenote: I really just wanna go all out on this car, I sold my high school project 96’ Hatch which I did a lot of work on to buy this thing. My brother had a Milano Red EK back in the day that was GSR swapped.
