I am looking for owner opinions on the DX model. If anyone has one, what do you think about lacking power windows and cruise control?

Are the side mirrors steerable? How are those steered?

I have a 2000 DX. 5 sp, no power anything. 157k miles second owner. I'd drive it to California and back right now. Most reliable car I've ever owned.
A/C blows ice cold too.
I'm about to do the brakes and get it painted.
Mirrors are adjusted by inside levers and the fold inward manually.

 

Agreed, I just threw a set of coils on mine and it made it 100x more fun to drive around. Its my daily, looking at exhaust, headers, intake and MSD to give it a bit more get around juice. All in all super reliable and worthy of being a daily driver even though its slow as a snail haha.

 

Oh, the side mirrors have levers? Both sides? That's pretty neat.

What is it like on long trips without cruise control?

These new coils, do they lower the car any?

How do those make it "100x more fun to drive around?"

What is an "MSD?"

 

MSD = Electronic Snake Oil. Said another way, don't waste your money.

 

I'm not really into making my car a race car anyway......does MSD call for 3,000 mile oil change frequency? LOL
