Drivers side window will not go up and down completely
The Driver’s side window in my 94 Accord will not go up and down completely without manual assistance. Any ideas? Is it more likely the motor or the tracking?
Thanks
Hello
I had issues with my 1996 Honda drivers window.
It started with the master electrical switch.
The window was down, and did not move at all.
But the mechanics man handled the window, and
it didn't fit into the rubber correctly after.
So then I also changed the window regulator.
Which I think will be your issue.
Use the Dorman brand
It's an improvement over the original spec.
When you put it the new regulator in,
be sure that the window goes up
into the rubber track correctly.

If the switches work, then it sounds like an issue with the window regulator. To replace it, you'd have to remove the door panel and water shield, then detach the window from the regulator, un-bolt the regulator, and remove it.
