Hey guys I have an 89 crx si and am wondering if a sunroof motor from another honda/acura will fit..... Ive tried searching even different threads and I've found nothing. I do have a 96 integra la as a parts car and am hoping I can use the sunroof motor.

 

how have you determined the sunroof motor is bad?

have you cleaned the switch?

 

I was told by previous owner that motor was bad but I havent even thought about cleaning the switch. This weekend I was going to take motor out and hook it straight to power to see if it is the motor and then I'll go from there. But just curious if any other motors would work incase mine is bad

 

its almost always the switch.


and its far easier to take the switch off and jump the contacts to see if the motor is dead.

ive not head of anyone finding a direct replacement for the crx sunroof motor. it seems unique enough i doubt youll find a direct replacement.
