Hi everyone, I've got a 98 EX that the previous owner put a y7 in. I'm looking into doing a mini me y8 head swap and I'm wondering if there is a specific head gasket I can use to create a high compression y8. I don't ever plan on boosting or trying to make any real power with this single cam, I'd just like to have a little more power than I currently have. So is there a way to make a y8 mini me a high compression motor like the y7 is? Any imput appreciated.

 

Custom pistons would be the most straight forward way of bumping up compression.
