87 accord 2.0 carburated. Trying to get the casing for the Thermostat out, and it does appear I need to either loosen or remove my distributor, or part of it. Is there a way to do this without losing time? I need 1/4". Either that or I am missing something, and I am gonna feel dumb.

Update:: I get to feel dumb. Pulled the little module from side of distributor that has the 4 pins to the wiring. Gave me just enough room to get casing off. Thanks in advance for any who would have answered.
