Default Fuel Consumption
Hay Honda fam,I have a 2005 Honda Civic LX… The car runs great has 153400 miles on it,I have noticed that the car is going through a lot of gas. I recently did tuneup about 1500 miles ago and only put in “good quality gas” .... Any suggestions?

What is your opinion of "a lot"? My 02 @ 120k miles gets 340-400 miles/tank depending on where and how I drive. (30-36 mpg)

Full tank of gas gets me like 220 miles or less and I don’t drive it fast the thing drives like a “turtle “

Might see if your cat is clogged or an O2 sensor needs replacing, you could be running too rich. New spark plugs might not be a bad idea either

You would be having Check Engine light Codes IF any of the above problems were present. What is Good Gas?? these things were Designed to run on 87.
