Default 2012 Civic VIN?

Hello, could someone tell me what the 6th digit in the VIN indicates? Reason I ask is that I need to replace the engine and the local yard has a low mileage 2014 engine only available. I noticed while searching on eBay that the engines state 6th digit either a "2" or "3". Well my car is a 2 while the available motor is a 3 and I'd like to know the difference and what else may need to be changed if I in fact purchase said engine. I did look up the VIN and my car was manufactured in Indiana while the donor engine comes from Canada.

Thanks

2012-2014:
Civic Sedan: FB2
Civic SI Sedan: FB6
Civic Coupe: FG3
Civic SI Coupe: FG4
Civic Hybrid: FB4

Don't think the body style or transmission matters, just the engine.

LX, DX, EX, etc - R18
Si - K24

Thanks av911,

I did come across said link in my search and that's what brought me to the forum!

I looked at both car-part.com and buyusedengine.com and the same results came up whether it was a "2" or "3" as the 6th digit. I believe the difference to be a sedan vs a coupe, and that the available engine should be compatible. 🤞
